Lyft

It takes a community to keep the ChalkCar going.  The ChalkCar is now a part of the Lyft community.  Lyft is an app that creates a community between people who need a ride and people who have a ride to share.  If you live or are planning to visit San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Seattle get the Lyft app for your apple or android phone and request a Lyft  You’ll meet one of the awesome people who make up the Lyft driver community, and if you want to you might just become one.

These are some Chalks left by passengers and passerbys.

ChalkCar is local, analog, social media

Parking outside the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art it’s clear to me that people use ChalkCar as Local, analog, social media.  In addition to drawings people leave status updates about their lives.

Craig and Laura from Chicago did the piece on the wheel.

“B is getting hitched 7/5/12″  Congratulations to the newly weds!

A few hours on Shattuck

I parked on Shattuck Ave.  In Berkeley.

Thanks.

The public library

There is a lot of knowledge stored inside the public library.  I thought it might be interesting to find out about what people where learning about.  So I asked them to respond on the car.  Most people were excited to learn they could write on ChalkCar.

I’d like to thank all of the artists who participated today.
